Signed Leisure Shirt 1998-9

This fully white leisure shirt (it’s not a 3rd football shirt or anything like that) is signed by the squad in our League 2/Division 3/League 1 season of 1998-9. Produced by Super League, who were the club’s kit supplier during this time.

Sport Express – April 11 1957 edition – 1956-7

Sport Express was previously known as Sport Weekly. This edition was one of the very last, as the magazine folded just a few weeks later on May 2 1957. This edition has a few Lincoln City bits of interest as seen below.

Football League Cup Replay Programme 1976-7

When Lincoln drew the first round game against Doncaster Rovers, the replay was played at a neutral ground – the City Ground in Nottingham. As such Nottingham Forest’s media team at the time published the programme for the game. Rovers won 3-2 on penalties after another draw.

with a familiar coaching name in shirt number 15 for Forest…. Forest’s 23 Junior Agogo also played for Lincoln in the 1999/2000 season, scoring once in three games. Junior sadly passed away in 2019 at the age of 40. (The game ended 1-1, with Lincoln losing 3-1 in the replay)
