Ernie Wright was a long time Lincoln City fan who travelled in to games from Manchester from the early 1960s.  He kept a Scrapbook of the club’s ups and downs as well as the travel and here is his son donating the Scrapbook to the club via Peter Doyle, Trust Supporter Director at the time at Sincil Bank before the home game against Macclesfield.

The Trust was recently given rare access to Ernie’s Scrapbook as it is now being worked by Lincoln University to save it for posterity. Below are a number of very rare images that were collected over the years.

With thanks to Peter Doyle and Stuart Wright.

We now have an interview with Stuart Wright, Ernie’s son discussing the scrapbook and how it developed.
