Gary writes –
It is a written record of our 1921/22 season, courtesy of someone called L Howden from Pennell Street. They meticulously noted down the teams, scores and events from every game, as well as some other details such as the divisions and FA Cup winner. They even wrote down bits from the reserves and Midland League.
It’s nice as it’s well preserved, all hand written and will be 100 years old this year. I strongly suspect whoever wrote it has long-since passed on, but I like to think they’d be happy with supporters 100 years later still looking at their work and appreciating it.
