1965: Returned to Lincoln City as player-manager
1966: Stepped back from management, continuing as a player
1967: Joined Port Vale F.C. to finish his playing career
Career totals: Scored 200 goals in 415 matches across his time in the English Football League
Roy was the father of Lee, who was actually born – in Scorer Street Lincoln and Roy sadly passed away in 1983.
