Gary writes – These are two mementos presented to Jewson as match sponsors in consecutive years. The manager of the depot at the time was a big Lincoln fan, so Jewson had quite a tie with the Imps in the early nineties. This was before my time, but these were still displayed in the depot when I arrived in late 2011. A new manager came in and told me I could take the glass one for my collection, but the wooden on disappeared. A few months after I left in 2013, one of my former colleagues rescued it from a skip, with the Imps broken, and sent it to me. One swift repair job later and they’re part of my extensive collection of all things Lincoln City.
