“Here’s the four-page programme for the National Association of Youth Clubs Cup Final that was inserted into the programme for City’s home game with Scunthorpe on 13 October 1979. I’ve no memory of it, and there’s no mention in any of my newspaper cuttings, but I assume it must have taken place after City’s game had finished so some people may have stayed on to watch it.”
