Newark born Ronald Peter Freeman – or Percy – had two spells with Lincoln – 1970 to 73 saw 30 goals in 80 appearances and following a sojourn to Reading returned in 1975 with 72 appearances and 34 goals.

Percy sadly passed away in January 2016 aged 70.
