I took this photo of Graham Taylor outside Wrexham’s Racecourse ground on 14 September 1968,little realising that some eight years later he would become one of Lincoln’s most successful ever Managers.He was a very decent man who showed me great kindness in showing me around his office after I had presented him with a half bottle of champagne to mark City’s promotion in 1976.It was the first taste of success I had experienced in almost twenty years of following The Imps.By the way we won the game on this day 1-0.
